Degree in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria at the II Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia, Napoli in 1984. Certificate in Orthodontics in 1988 at the Dental School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Specialty in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara in 2003. Involved in several research projects, from the nonextraction therapy with dr. Norman Cetlin to the Periodontally Facilitated Orthodontics. He is a national and international speaker. Invited lecturer at both Italian and international meetings Atlas about "Il trattamento senza estrazioni"(Nonextraction technique) published in 1988. In 2000, he published with the drs. R.L.Vanarsdall and N.M. Cetlin a chapter "Nonextraction Treatment" in the textbook "Orthodontics - Current principles and techniques" by T.M.Graber e R.M.Vanarsdall. Updated chapters, written with the same co-authors, have been included in the new editions (2006 & 2011) of the same book edited by Graber, Vanarsdall and Vig. In 2002 he published "Nonextraction Treatment: an atlas on Cetlin's mechanics" edited by Fenske Media Corporation. Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Orthodontic Department of the Dental School of the University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 2000. Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Parma from 1996 to 2000. Clinical Professor at the University of Ferrara since 2003. Member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Accademia Italiana di Ortodonzia, European Society of Orthodontics, Società Italiana di Ortodonzia, World Federation of Orthodontists. President of the Accademia Italiana di Ortodonzia in 2010. Scientific Secretary of the same society in 2008-2009. Active member of the Angle Society of Europe since 2005. Recipient of the Italian Certificate of Excellence in Orthodontics in 2001 and member of the European Board of Orthodontics since 2008. Private practice in orthodontics in Napoli since 1989.
